./configure error

I'm trying to install it on Gentoo.
VirtualBox-OSE-1.4.0 # ./configure
Checking for environment: Determined linux.amd64, OK.
Checking for kBuild: found, OK.
Checking for gcc: found version 4.1.2, OK.
Checking for as86:
** as86 (variable AS86) not found!

Did you follow the
Build Instructions from the front page?

yes i did, but
yum install AS86 didn't work,
yum install as86 didn't work,
and yum install AS didn't work too!
so how can I install this thing, i searched the net for it but I didn't find anything !

it's ok for IASL now actually it's yum update dev86
i'm still working on it, i trying to install qt3 now but i cqn't find it for my redhat5.1

it's ok now just envirement varibles not well seted
now the ./configure passe
the new error in the log file is : can't find lvboxqt4
