What Guest? Did you check the manual and VirtualBox FAQ for how to install them to the different Guest systems?

Doesn't make any sense to me. All i really want to do is change the resolution so that the Ubuntu operating system i have on there bigger than 800X600.

What ISO file do i need to upload? from the computer vid card installation CD?

These are great references to those who have experience, but to someone who has none its pretty worthless

Instead of hitting the "REPLY" button directly, read the link I gave you. It's all described there.

How do I install the Guest Additions in Linux Guests?
A: You need to mount the ISO file in VB using the menu, browse to the drive with a terminal and run the following commands:
Code:
sudo mount /cdrom # note that the location of the cdrom varies for different Linux packages
cd /media/cdrom # note that the location of the cdrom varies for different Linux packages
sudo ./VirtualBoxLinuxAdditions.run

Explain

The GA are shipped with the PUEL version. Just hit the Install GA button from the Devices Menu. You have to make sure that no other image is mounted already.
