I've been running Virtual Box on my Mandriva 2009 server since 2.0.0. I've upgraded with each new release. After upgrading to VBox 2.1.2, the computer will now just shutdown after I've had 4 XP vm's running. It usually stays up a few hours before it shuts down.. I've looked at all the logs and can't see anything indicating a problem. I don't have this problem with VBox isn't running.
I'm running on an Athlong X2, 4 GB ram, and running 4 XP vm's (each VM is getting 256 mb).
Is it possible I'm just running out of ram and that's causing the computer to shutdown? This is driving me nuts.
All help is greatly appreciated.

If the program suddenly shuts down, I'd say it's something on the hardware level like a hot CPU or memory errors. Run some stresstests on your machine, check the temps when the machine just shuts down (turn it on quickly and check your BIOS for temperatures).
