Installing Solaris x86, Keyboard unresponsive

Post by yuriha »

I connected an USB keyboard to the Windows server where I want to host a Solaris x86, the keyboard works fine when selecting the type of installation but once I'm asked to specify the type of installation ( I want the #4) the keyboard is unresponsive so it is too when specifying the Language.

I don't know if it's related, but there's an error on the list of USB devices :

Failed to attach the USB device Unknown device 04f3:0103[0105] to the virtual machine Solaris x86.

USB device '<unknown>' with UUID {a log string} is busy with a previous request. Please try again later.

Disable USB in the VM settings. The VM tries to grab your USB keyboard, making it disappear on the Host. And because it fails, it appears that it doesn't return it to the Host properly.
