One App I cannot seem to get working in VirtualBox is the Avaya Softphone client...

Ubuntu 8.04 - Host
VirtualBox 2.12
Windows XP - Guest

I know that it uses port 1720 to initiate call signaling and works off a range of ports 1638 - 32767.

I am using Bridging network and XP is getting it's own IP. Do I need to pass those ports somehow???

Thanks

With the use of Host Interface, you don't need to forward ports. You just have to make sure that no firewall is blocking the connection. If you're unsure of what is happening and all firewalls are turned off, run some network diagnostics like tcpdump or wireshark. You can run Wireshark on Windows too, so you can actually see connections comming in and going out.
