Solaris 10/08 x86 on a Windows 2003 the keyboard works weird

Post by yuriha »

When installing a Solaris x86 10/08 on a Windows 2003 Server host as a tty and asks me for the language, the keyboard stops responding.

When selected interactive, when asks for the language, the keyboard sends garbage.

I'm connected via Remote Desktop

Try it from the console directly. No RDP or any other remote control software. If that works properly, the issue is with the remote control software sending junk.

Using the latest VBox (2.1.2)?

I had that problem with earlier (1.x) versions of VBox. Went away in later versions.
