VRDP crash while normal RDP stable

Hello all,

ubuntu 8.04, win2003 guest, VBoxManage startvm -type vrdp

Did anyone had the same problem - when I connect to guest's VRDP session (by using host IP), the guest suddenly crashes. The process VBoxHeadless just exits! Nothing special in the guest log. When I connect to "normal" windows RDP session by using guest IP - everything is stable.

The crash is as follows:
1. Use some WinXP SP2 computer to connect to guest vrdp session, do something.
2. Switch from remote client to some WinXP program. Do something for 1 minute.
3. Switch to remote client and click the mouse. Guest stops responding, virtual machine is no more running.

This happens with and w/o virtual sound card, no USB. Any experience?

Even more information. I leave the gues for a night with open VRDP connection. This morning VRDP screen is black (connect to host IP). I reconnect mstsc.exe and it is still black and not responsive. BUT - RDP connection to guest (to guest IP) works normal.

It seems to be a bug in VRDP. Should I post bugreport?

If you can reproduce the issue on more than one system consistently, then please do. You can file bugs in the Bugtracker. You need to register for an account there though, your forum account won't work.
