I have a machine running XP 32-bit. I am trying to install a virtual machine running 64-bit CentOS4.
I have turned on the virtualization settings in the BIOS (DELL Optiplex 745). I am now trying to install CentOS, so I created a virtual machine, pointed it to the cent os cd. The install starts and says to hit enter to continue. As soon as I hit enter, my machine reboots (no BSOD) as if someone hit a reset switch on the machine.
I had the same problem with last version from December. Wondering if anyone has had the same problem. Not sure if its a vbox bug or maybe just something weird about this dell model.
vbox 2.1.2 reboots my machine

I think it's a hardware (or to be more preciese, BIOS) issue. A friend of mine also had sudden hangups and crashes when he enabled and used Virtualisation. After a BIOS update, it was stable again.
