I am having a problem with the display of VM on Ubuntu 8.10 64 bit
The problem is that the display is centred on the screen with large black margins around each side, so the actual display is only using about 50% of the screen area, even when I select full screen mode
When I first installed everything was good and then all of a sudden this problem appeared
I have tried the following
Clean install of Ubuntu (all except my home directory and where the VM disk file is stored)
updated to VB 2.1.2
uninstalled Guest Additions and reinstalled
The host machine is Ubuntu 8.10 64 bit, 2GB ram
The guest is Win XP SP3
Any help appreciated
Problem with display not full screen

Do you have Automatic Resize Guest Window option turned on in the Machine menu?
