Best network setting

Post by salmon »

Hello could anyone tell me what the best network setting for testing viruses is. I only want the guest machine to be able to access the internet and not the other computers on the network.
I have it on attached to: NAT at the moment is this the setting I should use? and are there any other settings I should change?

Thanks

NAT needs the Host connection. Setting it to HIF will use the physical connection directly, so you can set a bogus config on the Host. You can't disable the interface, as it will also disable the use for it in the VM.
