copy & paste unavailable

Post by windstory »

My box is windows 7 x64 and guest is centos 5.2 x86 as guest of vbox 2.1.2 x64.

I solved several problems, but could not get au clues for copy & paste.

My keayboard and mouse is Hp usb wireless "hp 5187URF".

I checked at USB controller and USB 2.0 EHCI at centos vbox setup.

Any suggestion and comment would be appreciated.

What is your real problem. You call the topic "copy & paste unavailable", then you start to talk about your USB controller and input devices.

You mean you can't copy and paste from the Host to the Guest and vice versa? Did you install the GA?

Sasquatch,

My problem is "copy & paste unavailable".

I think my keybaord and mouse's driver of vbox is the reason.
About GA, I installed several times but "copy & paste unavailable" is still.

You still don't say what doesn't work. As you state it now, it's not a VB issue, but a driver problem on your XP Host, preventing to use any form of copy and paste.

Atavist,

At my case, it does not work between centos as guest and windows 7 as host.

But Xp sp3 as guest and windows 7 as host is working before reading your tips.
