there are some steps to virtualbox 2.1.2 to run:

1. look in yast, are installed: "gcc"?
good idea to install "make" too
2. I think You also need to install kernel-symbols (kernel-syms). If You do this, You are pleased to installed also kernel-source (no problem approx 80MB)
and everytime: read some logs:
/var/log/vbox-install.log
and certain! /var/log/warn
