Hi,
I'm using Trixbox installed in a VM created with VirtualBox. My host OS is Vista home. The guest OS is CentOS 5.2 (Redhat). Everything is good but I need to use a share folder, so I have, first, to install VBoxGuestAdditions. I began using devices menu of my VM and to pursue I read the user manual. It says:
1. Before installing the Guest Additions, you will have to prepare your guest system for building external kernel modules. This works similarly as described in chapter 2.3.2, The VirtualBox kernel module, page 20, except that this step must now be performed in your Linux guest instead of on a Linux host system, as described there.
Again, as with Linux hosts, we recommend using DKMS for Linux guests as well. If it is not installed, use this command: sudo apt-get install dkms
Install DKMS before installing the Linux Guest Additions.
I did it and DKMS is now installed. After that, the manual says:
2. Mount the VBoxGuestAdditions.iso file as your Linux guest’s virtual CDROM drive, exactly the same way as described for a Windows guest in chapter 4.2.1.1, Mounting the Additions ISO file, page 58.
I don't know how to do. Where can I find the iso file? What command line have I to write.
I really need your help...
Best regards
