Script to autostart a guest vm

Post by edtheuniquegeek »

I am relatively new to virtualbox and was wondering if there is a way to autostart a guest vm, either with a script or some other means, whenever I log into my Windows host machine.

You can start a VM when the machine boots. See the sticky in this forum for how to do that (run it as a service).

If you want to run it at logon with the GUI, run the VirtualBox command, or VBoxManage. See the manual for more info.
