Cloned VDI have broken System32 Dirs?

Post by Kahuna »

As a nOOb at VirtualBox I've been cloning VDI's with VBoxManage. Clones seem to have been successful but when started they have a broken or missing System32 Dir.

Any fix for this or another way to clone the clean install?

Cheers

Not sure what your problem is. Cloning shouldn't impact the enbedded NTFS file system structures.

Cloning is currently broken in 2.1

Try doing a normal cody of the VDI then do
VBoxManage internalcommands sethduuid filename

Good Luck.
