Can't Get two VM an IP at the same time on a Host Interface

I have been trying for days to get the Host Interface setup correctly.

I have two VM's running XP. I have both setup for networking using Host Interface. I would like for both of them to get an IP address so that they can both talk to each other and to the internet. Is it possible to have two VM running on a Host Interface at once?

Thank you.

Yes. If you've configured Host IF on both guests and they have different MAC addresses then they will just pick up separate IP addresses as standard.

This is only possible if VB is able to use the Guest MAC to obtain an IP address and the DHCP server doesn't bind IPs to MAC addresses. VB does a failback to the actual hardware MAC address if the first option fails.

You can always set static addresses ;).
