No launch on lenny after aptitude install

No launch on lenny after aptitude install

Hello,

I am trying to install virtualbox with
aptitude install virtual-box
on lenny, but when I do
# VirtualBox
have this result :
Qt WARNING: Session management error: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed

aptitude manage the depedencies finely, then where is my problem ?

Guest OSses: Ubuntu 10.04 & 11.10, both Svr&Wstn, Debian, CentOS

I am not sure what the kit virtual-box is. The current PEUL kit is virtualbox-2.1

aptitude show virtualbox

i do
# aptitude show virtualbox
Package: virtualbox
New: yes
State: installed
Automatically installed: no
Version: 1.6.6-35336_Debian_lenny
the right packet is installed ; then what I have to do ? desinstall it ?
there is something to check before the installation (ie:grafic card or other stuff) ?

please tell me, I need performing this install.

Your first post said virtual-box, your last virtualbox. Read the aptitude help on removing packages, and the http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads page on how to configure and download the latest PEUL edition. Note that 2.1.2 is due out soon.
