Hi,
I built a new WinXP Media Center edition box, got all the updates including Service Pack 3 installed. It boots fine, no problem.
I created a backup of this using vboxmanage's clonevdi method. The problem is I tested this backup (created new vm with same configuration--even the MAC addresses are same on the NIC) and it doesn't work. Upon booting up, right after the WinXP logo shows up I get the following BSOD message: PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILURE.
The original vm still works fine without a single problem. I tried making the backup again, but still the issue persists. Is there anyway to fix this? There won't exactly be any point to making a backup if it does not work when I restore it....
