VirtualBox Automatically Maximizing...

Post by CyberPrime »

Hello, I have been using virtualbox for a while now and a while ago I somehow got my Windows XP virtual machine to maximize and go full screen, so now I can't change it back. I have tried everything I can think of (alt+F5, quickly right clicking on the smaller window's title bar before it mazimizes) but nothing will change it back. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but still nothing. Also, it doesn't do this with any other of my numerous virtual machines. I have just wound up moving it to a workspace other than my main one, and using Right Ctrl & Ctrl+Alt+Tab to get back to my main workspaces. It's been fun. Also, my resolution won't go up to 1440x900 but I assume that's because I can't install the guest tools because that toolbar isn't present. Thanks.

Try Hostkey-F where hostkey usually is right-control
Some say: "You learn as long as you live".
My way: "You live as long as you learn".
