Using MCE remote

Hello friends

I want to know if it is possible to use the mce remote in a guest windows xp.

Can anyone help me?

Guest OSses: Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux

Only if the reciever is attached to the Guest. IIRC, it's on USB, so you have to enable USB to be able to use it. Note that not all USB devices are supported, so it might not work.

Sasquatch is right, the IR receiver is USB and would need to be visible to the guest OS. You will need to be using the closed source version of VB to have USB support and how you set it up is all explained in the manual.

Good luck with getting USB working, lots of people are struggling with it.
