VB 2.1 creating virtual interface

Hi,

is it no longer possible to create new virtual interfaces with VB 2.1?

Problem:

I have two virtual machines: 1 Windows XP, 1 Endian
I want to whole traffic vom the XP machine going through the endian firewall.
I can now connect the red endian interface directly to my physical dsl interface, that's great(!). But how can I connect the green endian interface with the xp machine?

Or to say it in general: How can 2 virtual machines be connected?

thank you

This method is described in full detail in the user manual. What you want, is the Internal Networking. This allows VMs to communicate with each other over a network that is not visible from the Host. VB will create a virtual switch/hub and attach the VMs to it.

similar problem

I have a similar problem, but I do want the host to see.
Before with a host in 192.168.0.10 I could create 2 virutal host interfaces, create a bridge and name the two VMs 192.168.0.11 and 192.168.0.12

How can I give them an IP now? (If I want a server on one of them for example to be visible from the web)

thanks!

EDIT: the host is a VISTA 64

They changed the HIF system in 2.1.0, so you don't need the virtual interfaces anymore. If you want two VM to talk to each other and one to be a server, add two interfaces to the server, attach one to HIF, and one to IntNet. The other machines will go with IntNet.
