Old Host Networking Behavior in 2.1?

Post by npmeyer »

Hi,

I just upgraded to VirtualBox 2.1 on a Windows host, and I'd like to use the old host networking behavior. I want to be able to connect my guest OS and my host OS without an external network -- in fact, I don't want my guest OS to have any access to the external network (the one the physical interface on the host machine is connected to) at all. How can I go about this in 2.1?

Thanks,
Nick

Install the MS Loopback Interface and set the HIF to use that one.
