I have started getting this when trying to shut down an Ubuntu 8.10 virtual machine in VB. I know this can be caused by faulty device drivers (some of which have been updated on the host, I need to dig through the dump and see if one of them is the culprit); but I also know it can be caused by USB issues and I have been fiddling around quite a lot trying to get USB support on VB working.
I was wondering if anyone else had come across this particular problem with VB? I didn't find anything via "search" (Could it be something similar to this: http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/2134? Although this appears to refer to the guest and it my host they blue screens.)
Host blue screens (BAD_POLL_CALLER) when guest shutdown

Think I found it
I had changed the networking to host interface, seems that can cause a BSOD on 2.1 (http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=13017).
I'll change it back and see if it cures the problem.
Cheers.

Yes, Host Interface is the culprit
If I swap back to NAT the blue screens stop, guess I need to figure out how to log/add details to a defect.
