I'm using Windows XP as the host. I need to take the screenshots for Windows 2000 installation process, and for every steps. This is required for doing my school project.
How can I do it?
How to take screenshot for operating system installation?

Not tried (yet) with VirtualBox...
...but with VMWare I find that making sure the host has focus and Alt-PrintScreen works well. All you need to do then is open paint, paste the clipboard and trim (as you'll have a screenshot of the entire host desktop). A little utility like ScreenCapture32 on the host can help as well (others are available). GIMP (or something like that) on the host might be able to grab the screenshots as well.
Does VirtualBox have a "Take Screenshot" tool in one of the menus (Vmware does and I don't have VB here to check just now)? The first method will work if this is missing.

VB does not have a 'create screenshot' feature. Either use the print screen button from the Host while the Guest does not have the keyboard, or use The GIMP, as with that, you can select a part or a window of the OS to get a screenshot.
