Seems to run OK, can't install VBox additions, 'platform not supported', but I'll try a few other configs. The default blue background is very MacOSX-like, except for the fish :D
VBox settings are, 2GB RAM 20GB HD

I'm running windows 7 on a macbook pro. I intalled the guest additions by going to properties and changing the campability to vista and then run the file as administator. This will allow you to install the guest additions. Worked perfectly. I can't take credit for this though. I read how to do it somewhere online.

Does an off the shelf mac mini have virtualization technology enabled?

I am considering buying a mac mini if I can use virtualbox to install MS-windows and linux. Having to change the hardware or tweak the system would not be something of interest to me because this would be my first mac (i.e. I have no experience or expertise on the mac).

Thanks
