Hi All,

It is looking like I need to give up on using Ubuntu as the VirtualBox Host OS because it cannot support Adaptec SCSI controllers. Question is which Linux to try next?

For the 29320 card the Adaptec site has drivers for the following:
Rad Hat Linux
SuSE Linux
United Linux
and Linux Driver source code

Any suggestions?

i'd go with centos 5.2 - its essentially a free rebuild of redhat enterprise.
