I am using ubuntu 8.10 and running virtualbox 2.1 and have winXP installed.
However I am concerned if ragnarok online will work under it. Is ragnarok online using a OpenGL engine or D3D engine?

Surely this is something to find out on the ragnarok user forum?
I don't know this game but these multi-player games can soak up all your CPUs and if so this isn't really suitable for a single CPU VM, OpenGL or no.

maybe you can try to use wine instead of a vm?
