I would like to update my old VB-Installation (Host: WinXP) to the newest version.
This makes me wonder, what the best practice to do this is:
LinkSince the release of 2.0.0, there might be some problems upgrading from a previous version (1.x.x). If you want to upgrade, fully remove the old version and then install the new one.
I have 4 VMs, some of them with multiple vdi's linked - and some of these are defined as write-through-disks.
If I really have to uninstall and reinstall VB, is there any way to save the settings?
I remember that (for example) the write-through-info was gone, after I reinstalled my pc and linked the vdi to the new build VM.
Is there any way to keep my settings?
