Hello everyone,
I am new to Linux and I wish to make it my permanent OS. However, I am facing a lot of trouble which is discouraging me day by day to use this OS! I don't have internet connection in Linux because I need to be online to download the necessary driver for my modem!IRONY!!!

I have managed to go trough the problem and managed to connect to the internet using a VM WinXP in VirtualBox! However, I need the internet connection in my Linux host! Is there a way to do this? Can anyone explain how to do this to a newbie in Fedora? Remember I don't have a connection in Fedora and I have to download each package from windows and transfer it to Linux.
So please help me...
Regards,
zaf

P.S:
My OS is Fedora 10 and I am using VirtualBox 2.1.0.

You're asking something that has nothing to do with VB. You simply use VB to achieve what you can do with any other computer and a simple USB drive. Please ask in the Fedora forums for this. We don't discuss how to get certain hardware working.

I'm locking this one. It's not in the scope of VB. You can always use a USB stick or Shared Folders to get the drivers to your host.
