I was just wondering.. would there be a problem of creating a vmdk raw disk file of the host partition and adding it to the Hard Disk section of a VM. Then in the VM, it should have full access to the host drive, no?
I understand this could be somewhat dangerous if the guest modifies system files on the host.. and that a windows guest wouldn't be able to read a linux partition.. but a linux guest should be able to view the host drive, wether it be linux or windows..
I havn't even tried this yet, was just something I was thinking about and thought I'd ask about it..
