Hi!
My Vista Ultimate SP1 was running very stable until I installed VBox 2.1.0
Even after a uninstall of VBox the system was throwing randomly several BSOD "STOP 124". Only selecting a system-restore-point before the installation of VBox 2.1.0 helped me out.
Just for your information.

It's a possiblity that the new HIF feature is the cause of this. Others have mentioned random crashes with their systems after installing 2.1.0. Could you try it with 2.0.6?

Problem solved
Sorry that I was not here for a long time... but the PC was dead.
It hadn't anything to do with VirtualBox 2.1, it was randomly the same time as my Mainboard died... caused by bulging capacitors
Now I have a new mainboard and give VirtualBox 2.1 another try.
