Hi, I created this topic
http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=12899
I forgot to mention I tried downgrading to 2.0.6
Today I did svn checkout (trunk) and compiled
in both cases no success... the port is not being forwarded...
So I tried actually 3 versions - 2.0.6, 2.1 and the latest SVN HEAD (as for today) ...
Also I tried setting "Host interface network" and selected the only interface I have (eth0, which works for sure) but in this case it was even worse - not only I couldn't from host machine to guest-running server, but I was unable to connect from guest to any Internet resources too...
Port forwarding [again]
