timeouts

Post by dantay »

Hi all,

I am running VB 2.0.6 on a Windows XP host and Ubuntu 8.10 as guest. I have setup ApacheHttp+SVN+SSL on my Ubuntu guest. When I try to do a checkout (on a different machine) I get a timeout around every 6 minutes.

I have setup a host interface and bridged my connections in my host. Ubuntu guest has a static IP and everything else relation to network connection is working but this timeout is driving me insane.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Check the Guest logs. It might say something about this timeout. What you can try too, is a continuous ping to the Guest to see if that gives a timeout too after some time.

Hi,

I have updated to VB 2.1 and the connection seems to be better. However, I am running into another issue:

Could not read chunk delimiter: Secure connection truncated

I tried to google it and the best I manage to get is the following link:

I tried the solution but I am still having the same problem. Also, once I get that error, the HTTP server goes down too. I would have to do a restart of the HTTP server.

Any ideas? Is what I am trying to do just simply not advisable?

TIA.
