Hello
I am trying to upgarde from 1.6 to 2.1. Install is ok, but when I try to launch it (using VirtualBox in command line) I get the following error :
VirtualBox: supR3HardenedMainGetTrustedMain: dlopen("/usr/lib/virtualbox/VirtualBox.so",) failed: /usr/lib/libQtNetwork.so.4: undefined symbol: _ZN14QObjectPrivate15checkWindowRoleEv

I added /usr/lib to the file /etc/ld.so.conf.d/lib.conf but it still doesn't work.

Does anyaone have an idea ??

I have exactly the same problem with 2.1 using Ubuntu 7.10. Virtualbox 1.6 was working.
I it possible that the problem is because there is also VMWare installed?

Changing /etc/ld.so.conf also didnt help.

Sounds like you're not picking up the Qt4 libraries. Are these installed on your system?

Check the VirtualBox FAQ for some possible fixes. If you search the forums, you will find more topics with that Supr error.
