Can winodow host run mac osx

Hi, I would like to know if I can use the other/unknown option to

run mac osx on windows host.

No. The normal MAC OS disk won't normally let you install it on a PC. There is a special hacked version floating around that works on PCs, but its not compatible with Virtual Box.

Any chance it would work if I had booted into Windows on a Mac (Apple calls in Bootcamp) and tried to run the Mac OS X partition from VirtualBox?

You can try, but it does not guarantee it will work. You still have the MBR issue. And I wonder how MAC OS handles hardware changes like these.
