VERR_VM_DRIVER_VERSION_MISMATCH

Post by Shakipu »

Hi everybody
I have a problem with my VirtualBox... When I start a VM, i have this message :

The VirtualBox support driver which is running is from a different version of VirtualBox. You can correct this by stopping all running instances of VirtualBox and reinstalling the software.

VBox status code : -1912
(VERR_VM_DRIVER_VERSION_MISMATCH).

Any solution ?
I was in the version 2.1.0 but i prefer, for personal reason to take the 2.0.6 version... Perhaps it is the problem so i will see...

If you downgrade to 2.0.6 then you also need to downgrade your GA on your guests.

It seems that the removal of 2.1.0 is not done correctly. Please remove VB, reboot your Host and install the version you want.
