Windows Host - Debian Guest Networking - Change 2.06 -> 2

I was using VMWare Server earlier and I am really excited about VBox except for the network simulation.
After figuring out how it works with host interface and 2.0.6 version now after changing to 2.1 it again does not work.
What do I want to achieve:
I want to have a Host/Guest interface with a fixed network address i.e. 192.168.242 where the Host is 192.168.242.1 and the Guest is 192.168.242.130
I assigned the 192.168.242.130 statically in the Guest OS under Debian Linux.
Now after the host interface simulations are gone where can I add a new virtual network adaptor on the host to assign it to 192.168.242.1?
Using NAT is not an option for me as I do want to access the guest from the host directly. Internal Network is also no option as I want to access the guest from the host directly. Is there any virtual adaptor I can install that takes the job? Using VMWare virtual adaptor does not work.
Any ideas are welcome
