Can't set up a Shared Folder in XP guest on 1.6.4

I've installed the Guest Additions in the guest as described in manual, but still could not see the folder I attached.
Is it a known bug of 1.6.4? or it's just I have no luck

What have you tried yourself? All you say is "I set it, but it doesn't work". And with that info, nobody can work. If you would go to a doctor stating "it hurts", he hasn't a clue as what is wrong with you. Give more info. See the
Forum Posting Guide for help giving the info we need.

Sorry, I've tried browsing to "My Networking Places" > "Entire Network" > "VirtualBox Shared Folders" or use "net use x: \\vboxsvr\sharename" in cmd, but could not see that shared folder or mount it.
Actually, I post this topic for confirming if it is a known bug on this 1.6.4 version only. I get a feeling that this function won't work on my machine, I'll try it on another computer when free.

You realize that there are some newer versions released? For the 1.6.x releases, 1.6.6 is the latest and most stable with the least amount of bugs.

Yes, so now I find it's indeed a bug of the 1.6.4
I tried on a fresh machine and nothing different, then I uninstall the 1.6.4 and install the 2.0.6, everything going well as result.
And thanks letting me know that 1.6.6 is the most stable version of the 1.6.x releases.
