PAE Enable

Post by munster »

I am attempting to install Mac OS X on a Dell Latitude D800 laptop and I get an error about PAE mode not enabled. I went into the settings tab and see where PAE can be enabled, but it is greyed out. Is there anyway that can get this option un-greyed so it can be enabled?

TIA, Eric.

Try enabling DEP or search the web about PAE and boot.ini

It's also possible that the CPU in your laptop does not support PAE. VB uses the CPU extention to pass it to the VM. It can't pass something to a VM if the CPU doesn't have it.
