hi! i'm running VirtualBox 2.0.6 on a windows host. I have a ubuntu guest and a xp guest. I'm able to connect to the linux guest through the "host interface". Is there any way to connect the hosts as well? I want to be able to surf from the xp guest to the linux guest. Does that invlolve so called bridging?
thnx!
No bridging is needed

If you are using "Host Interface", then all your guest VMs and the host(s) should all appear to be real machines on the LAN and they should be able to connect to/from each other on the IP level. No bridging is needed here.

With 2.0.6, you still need to bridge the connections. 2.1.0 has direct access to the interfaces.
