Linux Mint Error

I have this error, and with sudo i cannot make the command vboxdrv setup.

:

Código Resultado:
NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Componente:
Machine
Interface:
IMachine {1e509de4-d96c-4f44-8b94-860194f710ac}

And in other window:

VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (rc=-1908)

The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is either not loaded or there is a permission problem with /dev/vboxdrv. Re-setup the kernel module by executing

'/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup'

as root. Users of Ubuntu or Fedora should install the DKMS package at first. This package keeps track of Linux kernel changes and recompiles the vboxdrv kernel module if necessary.

This is one of the mostly discussed topics.

So use the use search function or read the Manual what is needed for installation.

Are you the moderator? This is the nth unhelpful post of yours I had the bad luck to read. Try yourself to find any information here, and you'll see what a waste of time it is most of the times! Sadly only a few people are able to spend hours looking for help. If you're here professionally, don't forget that you're one and we're by the hundreds; we don't have your time to read every thread that shows up in the search results. So if you know the answer, why for every question you'd be helpful, you keep answering RTFM or RTFF to all who come here for valuable info? I guess it's much better to just keep silent if you're unwilling to help.

Thanks.

Soory, but reading the Manual is a Minimum what could be expected.

Read the Manual. Check what there is described for Installation.

Come back again, but with Infos.

Version of VirtualBox, how installed, downloaded from which source, version of Mint, ...

Or if you dont understand what manual describes: Post exact what you dont understand.

Alma, welcome to the forums. Please take a look at the Forum Posting Guide for some help finding info on the forums.

The error you are describing is asked dozens of times. Do you have the proper tools to create kernel modules? What does the output of the command say? We need some more info to help you.

As for the response of Stefan, he kinda acts like a mod here. He's been officially asked to join us, but he declined that because he didn't want the added throuble that mostly come with being a moderator (he is on a different site). He's mostly helpful here, so don't scold someone who only wants to help you.
