Host : Windows Vista Home Premium
Guest: Fedora 10 Linux
VMM: virtual box 2.1.0
While Full screen works in Graphical mode after guest additions rpm installation
console mode full screen does not work as expected. (CTRL-ALT-F1 to CTRL-ALT-F6)
Linux is more popular among console mode users.
Any suggestions on how to make it work ?
Does it work at all with the current releases ?

Did you read the manual? It's stated there to use HOST+F1 etc. to go to virtual consoles. There are some key combinations like those that are captured by the Host instead of VB due to higher priority.

I am not sure if my question was clear.
Its not HOST+F1 but "fullscreen" in console mode.
I can use runlevel 3 to get to console mode.
But the display is hardly 40% of windows host screen.
After installing Linux guest additions and editing xorg.conf
X display was fullscreen (100% of windows host screen).
I am looking for a similar fullscreen in console mode too.

Ah, then you need to change some resolution things, which is not in the scope of this forum. See the Linux Guests for a topic that discusses a few things you can try. The rest is up to you to find out, we can't help you with this, sorry. The CLI is stuck on 640x480 by default.
If you want a higher resolution, use SSH to connect to the VM and use your terminal to maintain it. You will have a larger scrollback too.
