I just got an new laptop, fuijitsu-siemens lifebook s series, I'm running ubuntu (linux) in Virtualbox. But my screenresolution is 1280x800.
everytime I startup ubuntu (or another linux distro) my mouse cursor can not cover the whole desktop. With mij old laptop 1024x800 I had no problem with linux distro's in Virtualbox.

Does anyone know a solution for this?

thanks,
idzme

Did you also install the Guest Additions? That makes it possible to run higher and custom resolutions.

yes, it looks like that when I run the quest additions, the problem occurs. In a small mode (no qhuest additions and no fullscreen, the moiuse works perfectly. But in fullscreen mode, sometimes teh cursor stops halfway my screen..

strange, did not happen with my old laptop, so I thought maybe it's the (wide) screen resolution?
