Hi,
I am new to all this VM stuff and I have been playing around with VMWare for a while now, I have never installed or tried Virtual box however I am installing Windows XP Pro in the background currently onto a new VM using Virtual Box.
What I wanted to know was is it possible to access my VM over the internet though a web browser? I have a work PC which is great however the company I work for dont like me to install software on the pc unless it work related and I think that some of the software I use at home such as ACT or sage would actully benefit me.
Does this make sense or I am I just wished for the impossible?
Thanks
Accessing VM over the Net? possible?

VB offers the connectivity method of VRDP. That means that you can access your VM using the RDP protocol. If you want to access your VM on your home PC, you need to forward some ports on your home router so you can access it. See www.portforward.com for info on how to do that.
In the VM settings, you can set a port number for the VRDP server to listen to. If you use XP Pro or another Windows Host that has RDP capabilities, you can't use the default 3389 port.
