questions about the disk usage

I have a stupid question for someone. If I uninstall the virtualbox, do I gain all my disk space back. does it create permenant partitions are just virtual partitions in the form of files. I would appreciate someone being able to answer these questions for me.

Uninstalling VBox will remove the content in Program Files. You will need to the delete the %USERPROFILE%\.VirtualBox directory, which is where the VMs and HDDs are installed, yourself.
