Using vmdk File causes VB to Freeze

Post by chosenken »

Just installed the latest VB, 2.1.0, and attempted to start up a VM I created in VMWare Virtual Server. I created the new VM, and left everything at there defaults, just set mem to 256. When it starts to load up, the screen goes black then just freezes. I have to power off the VM then. I tried starting the VM in Safe Mode, but it still freezes up on me.

Before I created the new VM, I shut down the VM in Virtual Server, so it did have a clean shut down. I don't believe there are any snapshots of the drive either. I am running Windows 32 XP Pro as Host, with a C2D, 2gig mem.

Here's the log. At line 565, there is some errors from the Guest Bios about the hard disk. Thanks!
