I created a networkbridge on my MS Win. Server 2008 host to connect my Open SuSE 11 guest to the network. So the transferspeed via WinSCP from the host to the guest ist very slow. I differs between 100 and 1000KB/s and it should be about some MB/s.

Anyone an idea where i made a mistake?

The software used is 64Bit, host, guest & VBox!

It's possible that it's a 64 bit performance issue. Or a problem in the WinSCP program you use. Have you tried without the bridge and only the virtual interface (set the right IP addresses on both sides).

First I tried the NAT solution. So I forwarded port 22 from the host to the guest. In this way everything worked fine!

I will try to transfer data without WinSCP next. Maybe you are right and WinSCP has a problem with the 64Bit stuff.
