Windows Guest - Windows Host networking issues

Post by Paulthom12345 »

Hi
I am using windows XP to run another virtual Machine that also has windows XP on it. The reason i have this is so that i can have a portable computer. BUt when i am at home i would like it if it could still connect to the internet. I was wondering if anyone knew a guide that would help me connect two windows machines together, because all i could find was guides for Windows-Linux

Thanks
Paul

What is your exact issue? If you set the VM to use NAT, it should have internet no matter where you are.
What have you tried so far? Did you read the manual about networking (chapter 6)? See the VirtualBox FAQ too for any firewall/security suite that could cause problems for VB.
