Won't install Linux XP

Hi,

I'm using VirtualBox on Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit and am trying to install Linux XP. It needs around 4GB of space so I have made the VirtualDrive 6.5GB. After going through with many different settings, I finally get to the installation but at 8 minutes left, it suddenly fails and comes up with a dialog box saying it failed because of a certain reason, but the reason isn't listed.

Very weird, any ideas?

Thanks,
Jack

Try it with a 20g disk.

Worked! Thanks for that. Problem now is, I have 30 days to activate Linux XP, and I can't login it for some reason. User is "root" but password is not root, password or blank.

Any suggestions on that? Linux XP doesn't have a forum I believe.

What the hell is Linux XP?

Try a modern distribution like Ubuntu, Suse or Fedora.

I use Ubuntu too, I like it but I like trying other OSs too, it's part of the experience. It looks nice too.
