Once a box primary drive is created, there is no way to increase the size, correct? I mistakenly set the hdd size of my vbox drive to 10gb, thinking I had set it to expand, when what I was doing was setting it to expand, but only up to the 10mb size I had selected. Now I am at the end of that 10gb, and am running out of room. The virtual machine is configured very nicely, runs great; I'd hate to delete it just to make a bigger one. Is there a way to increase that size, or am I just stuck.
thanks all,
.gs.

I think you are stuck from an expansion perspective.
One solution I've used.
Download a disk clone utility like ghost.
Create your bigger drive. Attach it as a secondary drive in your virtual machine settings.
Boot to the cd of the clone utility.
Clone your old drive to your new drive.
You may have to use a partition tool like partition magic to expand to the greater capacity.

both very helpful replies. thanks very much. I just misread that, and now I have such a good vm that I'd hate to have to start over.
